Where have all the beautiful flowers and blossoms been hiding? Suddenly there is an abundance everywhere I look. From the blossom in the trees to the delicate wild flowers that line every hedgerow, the mass of bluebells in the woods and even the stinging nettles are proving they aren't all bad with their delicate, white, bell like flowers.
I don't mean to come over all poetic, but their beauty is pretty awesome. Perhaps it is the late spring that has forced them to bloom in unison, or maybe I have just become more observant (and handy with a camera!) All these photos I have taken around Bramble & Fox HQ.
Whatever the reason I am certainly full of the joys of spring (albeit in June) because of them, and they inspired me to use these gorgeous lustre vases availble from Bramble & Fox to decorate the dining table and, well just about everywhere else too!
The vases are so small and delicate, that they are perfect for displaying teeny tiny wild flowers which make a really unusual, beautiful (and dare I say cost-effective) centrepiece!
Even a few stems of textured grass look fab, and they are not so large they make it impossible to talk to the person opposite you, so hopefully you will want to talk to the person opposite you. ;)

I have a labeller and I am not afraid to use it!
I have recently achieved a lifelong dream - I am now the proud owner of a labelling machine!
This handheld categorising super-tool is fast becoming my weapon of choice in the war against disorganisation.
'Pass me a 5mm jump ring' Did I hear you cry? No problemo, not now I have labelled all my storage pots (white lettering on pink. Medium font).
There are just no end to its uses - in fact if Maisie Dog stayed still long enough I am sure she would also find herself labelled appropriately.
For instance, I recently 'acquired' this gorgeous spice rack from Bramble & Fox stock. It comprises of several glass jars with shutter blue lids, all neatly stored in a wire work rack. The style and colour is perfect for my kitchen, and it sure beats fumbling around in the back of the cupboard for a pot of Morrison's-own mixed herbs.
For one glorious hour on Sunday, I spent my time creating spicy labels (black lettering on clear. Small font), and transferring over the contents of my menagerie of pots and packets. Labelling heaven, and the heady heights of spice organisation achieved.
Now, as I sit back and admire my handiwork, I am aware my love of organisation might be called by some obsessive - naturally I prefer the term 'super organised'. Actually, I think I might just go and print myself a label...
